When did you start riding? Four years old but had to relearn when I was thirteen (lived in the southern hemisphere for awhile)

What is more important to you than riding? Everything in my life is important to me.

Best Memory of the Year: First experience at X Games.

Best Hang (trip of the year): the Orage European Open as an event, competition and location. This trip was combined with World Cup Finals (Valmelenco, Italy) which made it a driving, skiing, competition and partying adventure full of camaraderie between all the skiers.

Party animal or mellow TV on the couch? Both, sort of. I’m not really an animal and I don’t like TV that much…but I do like to party, especially when there is dancing, and I do like being mellow.

Best story of another team rider: I don’t know the Bula riders well enough to have stories but I’m looking forward to it! I will say that Colby can be expected to be the best dancer at any party.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Preparing to compete half pipe skiing in the Olympics (2014!) to hopefully bring home gold for Canada. And taking courses at university.

Biggest influence in your life and why? I have had a number of big influences but living in Ecuador during elementary and middle school probably made me what I am today. It was the best of times and the very worst of times. Adversity is a great teacher
